ProMed is thrilled to bring you Embrace, a magazine designed with long-term caregivers in mind.

We view Embrace as a natural extension of ProMed. For the past 42 years, we've collaborated with experts in the long-term care arena. We've seen wonderful success stories unfold and we've learned a lot from our customers along the way. Embrace is our way of sharing what we've learned.

Embrace also encourages caregivers to remember to take time to care for themselves. Every caregiver needs to take a step back from time to time and focus on their own well-being and happiness, both for their own sake and the sake of the residents who depend upon them to provide top-notch care.

Each issue of Embrace will contain articles in the following five sections:
Spotlight: This section contains feature-length articles on ProMed customers, groups and individuals who are making a difference in the long-term care community.
Keeping Compliant: Long-term care is constantly changing and evolving. Keeping up with it can be a challenge! That's why we're creating articles that address recent events as well as tips on how to handle regulation changes.
Improving Care: ProMed's goal is to help our customers improve care, save time and reduce costs. In this section, we'll share ways to realize that goal.
Time for You: Each issue of Embrace will include articles written to encourage readers to take time to care for themselves while they care for others. This section will also include the winning recipes from ProMed's quarterly employee cooking contests.
Tools of the Trade: ProMed has a top-notch Clinical and Regulatory Compliance Team, and we want our customers to benefit from their expertise! Embrace contains forms and tools that the team has created to assist caregivers with facility challenges. Each issue will also contain a tear-out informational poster that can be hung up throughout facilities.

Because Embrace is published especially for you, we'd love to know what you think! If you have any suggestions, whether they're article ideas or ways we can continue to improve the magazine, please send them to embrace@promedsupply.com.

Subscriptions to Embrace are free, and signing up for one is a snap! Simply go to promedsupply.com and follow the prompts. A copy of Embrace will soon be on its way to your facility.
In October, ProMed launched our new blog, Growing Together in Health Care. We're updating the blog on a daily basis with specially selected news that our clinical team feels will benefit your facility and help keep you up-to-date with current industry trends.

Because this blog was designed for you, our customers, we want to address the issues that you feel are most important. Examples of the diverse topics recently covered on the blog include the Illinois Nursing Home Safety Task Force's findings, revised guidance for Tag F-441 (infection control) and a feature on a ProMed customer facility that has found a unique way to empower residents.

We hope you'll consider becoming a "follower" of our blog and submit comments to us on how we can continue to improve. You can find the blog at promedsupply.blogspot.com. New items are posted daily, so you'll want to stop by often!

We also maintain a presence on Facebook and Twitter! You can become a fan of Professional Medical Inc. on Facebook at facebook.com/promedsupply. On Twitter, you'll find us at twitter.com/promed_ltc.
